The look of a man who ran out of fucks to give sometime around 1974
My grandpa hangs out with Willyses. His first car was a Hupmobile. He used to hill climb race a Triumph TR3 in the late ‘50s. My grandpa is cooler than your grandpa.

The most interesting car my grandfather ever owned was a 2002 thunderbird.

My grandpa is 80 and still farms his own land. Wakes up at 4am every morning. In the winter he spends his days in his shop making some unique inventions because he hates being bored.

All my grandpas are dead.
But one of them worked for NSU and then BMW, which is pretty cool.

Hmm. My grandpa worked for Edison and has great stories about what a rat bastard he was.

Yeah my grandpa is 80 too. Is either out fishing, out golfing, inventing stuff to make people with bad backs’ lives easier, or hanging out with old cars.

The fact that it was a Volvo undoes all the cool that would have been there.

All my grandpas are dead, but all of them drove those Willy’s jeeps when they were brand new and on foreign lands.

My grandpa ran away from an orphanage at 16 and hitchhiked across the country to LA. Worked his way from ditch digger in the Southern California oil fields, to an executive in the oil and gas industry. He worked in the industry until he was 87, only taking a break to fight in WW2 under General Patton. During the war he used to trade his assigned Jeep for an MP’s Harley so he could rip around on that. His first car was a Whippet roadster, and among the many cool cars he owned was a ‘70 Chrysler 300 Hurst edition. That man could tell one hell of a story too. He made it to 93, but I still miss him.

My grandpa lived to 102, ran away from his family’s farm in Calabria at 16 and came to America, joined the Navy and sailed around the world during WWI. Lived as a hobo as he road the trains from SF to NY after the war in order to learn English. Met up with Charles Atlas and became friends with him as they were both from Calabria and appeared in some of his magazines. Your grandpa’s Jeep is cool...

My grandpa is dead, so technically he is cooler. At least in winter.
